A recent deal between Miramax and Hulu means subscribers of Hulu's online service - Hulu Plus - can now watch hundreds of Miramax movies on their computer or iOS device.
Hulu fans will be able to see proof of the deal as of yesterday, meaning the films can now be accessed either via Hulu.com, or from within the service's iOS application - Hulu Plus. Importantly, these films will be available to watch in high definition (when available), and there will be no advertising interruption.
However, that's not all. As reported by TechCrunch:
Additionally, Hulu says it will “soon” rotate a selection of approximately 15 Miramax films each month through Hulu.com with ad breaks, marking the first time Miramax titles have become available through an advertising-supported streaming service.Currently, Miramax has a movie library of around 700 films. Hulu Plus is available to download for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch for free. If you're a Hulu Plus subscriber, be sure to take a look at the app. [via TechCrunch]
