The AppAdvice iPad App Of The Week:
Mint.com, Free & Universal, Updated October 26
Mint.com App Arrives Today On iPad
Mint.com, one of the most popular personal finance websites in the U.S. and Canada, arrives today on the iPad as a universal app. The free Mint.com app is available now in the App Store.
Originally launched in 2007, Mint.com was purchased by Intuit, the makers of Quicken and TurboTax, in 2009. Its primary service is to allow users to track their bank, credit card, investment, and loan transactions, all without a monthly free. The Mint.com iPad app launch comes nearly two years after the original app became available for the iPhone/iPod touch. Currently, nearly seven million people use Mint.com’s web-based and mobile offerings.
We’ve had a chance to see the Mint.com app prior to today’s release. As such, we’re happy to report Intuit likely has a winner on its hands. Not only did we find the iPad app easy to use, but also the list of features available are second to none.
