Smappsoft Releases Look Again Jr, The Edutainment Version Of Their Popular Matching Puzzle Game

Smappsoft, the creators of Chinese 13 Card Poker and Scales & Modes, has released their second edutainment title, Look Again Jr, a matching puzzle game based on the developer's original version of the similar name, Look Again.
Look Again Jr is akin to the adult version due to its offering of entertainment and brain function exercise through a match-style gameplay. However, Look Again Jr goes a step further by providing other matching games that deal with problem solving as well as recognition skills. As a motivator, Look Again Jr uses virtual sticker awards and positive comment cheers instead of the much more intimidating high score system.
The game helps children practice problem solving and recognition in a number of different categories. There are puzzles that will ask your child to identify which fruits and vegetables are in a photo, pick only those dice sets that add up to the given number, select only the objects that relate to the center image, choose the paper and coin currency which add up to the dollar amount presented, and so on. Just like the original, gameplay involves the main image in the center and the choices circle around it.
Overall features of the app include 120 levels that can be done in sequential order or chosen manually through a gallery-style selection system, a choice of either a puppy or kitten as the main character, upbeat background music, plus instructions and end game commentary narrated by children.
Look Again Jr is a universal app compatible with iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch running iOS 4.0 or later, and available in the App Store for $1.99.
