It's Festivus Time - Here Is How To Participate!

We told you it was coming, and now it's finally here. So grab your unadorned aluminum poles, get limbered up for the Feats of Strength, and join us as we celebrate the 21 Days of Festivus the only way we know how: with a prize-filled, marathon sweepstakes! (Don't know what Festivus is? Frank help you! Check out the facts here and here so you're all nice and caught up.) But, before you start winning tons of amazing things, here's everything you need to know:
What's up for grabs?
AppAdvice has teamed up with lots of awesome sponsors to give away tons of awesome accessories. We're talking iCades, premium cases, GPS car kits, Griffin Beacons, Jawbone Jamboxes, and AR Drones. Plus, you know, apps and a bunch of other stuff, too.
But that's not even the best part.

How do you play?
What, you want in? You mean you want multiple chances to win thousands of dollars of gifts for free?
Okay, then, here's the deal: Festivus begins at midnight tonight and runs for the next several weeks. A different group of prizes will be unveiled each day, and you'll get an opportunity to submit a virtual raffle ticket to enter each random drawing. In other words, every day is a new contest and a new chance to win, and you only need to sign up once so we can contact you if your ticket is drawn.
Each eligible player can get a maximum of five (5) raffle tickets per iOS device per day. You get your first ticket by using the "Giveaway" tab in the AppAdvice app (which you'll need to update to the latest version--released today--if you haven't already). The remaining four can be earned by sharing the promotion with your friends via email, Facebook, and Twitter, and by following @AppAdvice on Twitter itself. To make things easier still--and to further celebrate the Festivus season--we're making the AppAdvice app totally free for the rest of the month!
I've won, now what?
Well, first allow our congratulations! Now, just read the email we sent you and respond within the message's stated time period (and don't worry, it won't be something ridiculous like 20 minutes). After that, just sit back, relax, and give us a few weeks to get your prize mailed out and delivered. Daily winners will be announced on the site.
