Photogene For iPhone, iPad Updated: New Sharing Options, New Edit Tools And More

Both Photogene applications - that is, Photogene² for iPhone and Photogene for iPad - have recently received updates, adding new sharing options, new edit tools and numerous bug fixes and improvements.
The updates for both apps hit the App Store yesterday. As outlined in their respective release notes, changes made to the iPhone application include:

- Device-to-device: transfer photos directly to another iPad/iPhone (requires Photogene to be installed on the other device).
- Clarity slider.
- Clone tool.
- Create your own presets! Long tap on a photo in the editor to save it as a preset.
- Add date-stamp to your exported photos.
- Copy edit operations from one photo and apply the same edits on another photo. Long tap on a photo in the editor to bring up the copy&paste menu.
- Can now upload directly to Evernote and Tumblr.
- Now it's possible to preserve the original file names when uploading to Dropbox, FTP or mail (requires iOS 5).
Currently, Photogene² for iPhone is available to download in the App Store for $0.99, while Photogene for iPad is priced slightly higher at $2.99.
