Temple Guns Blasts Its Way Past AWOL Apple Review Team

Hey, look, another Temple Run knockoff made it past Apple's increasingly nonexistent approvals staff!
This time, the offending game is called Temple Guns (comically complete with trademark insignia and everything). Naturally, all the reviews cry foul and "lesson learned," and -- while developer Fred Mansoon was "good" enough to provide actual in-game screenshots showcasing the game's typing-based gameplay -- it seems lots of folks have downloaded the app more or less sight unseen.
It's easy to blame either side, but this one, just like most such scams to hit the App Store of late, is squarely on Apple. Until Cook and company take charge and address this growing issue (you know, with a larger number of human auditors and specific fraud-watch guidelines), this kind of nonsense is going to keep happening.
In the meantime, all we can say is "caveat emptor."
