In Other News, Current Apple TVs Mostly Sold Out
March 6, 2012
Really looking forward to purchasing a second-generation Apple TV? You’re mostly out of luck. With Apple’s next media event just hours away, 98 percent of Apple’s 246 US retail stores no longer have the company’s “hobby” product in stock, according to MacRumors.
As we told you earlier, Apple is expected to reveal a third-generation Apple TV at tomorrow’s iPad 3/HD/2S. So, it makes sense the company would stop selling the outgoing model.
That being said, according to the report, Apple TVs are still available at:
- San Francisco flagship (San Francisco, California)
- Higuera Street (San Luis Obispo, California)
- SoHo (New York, New York)
- South Hills Village (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania)
