Plannerd Is One Nerdy Planner Indeed!
March 18, 2012
Plannerd is a new productivity app designed for the iPhone. More precisely, Plannerd is not just a productivity app; it's an all-in-one productivity app.
Plannerd has notes, to-do lists, reminders and a calendar — the usual. But it also has a calculator, a mini-ruler, a business card holder and a voice recorder. There's also a reference section that is itself packed with more tools and tables: unit and currency converter, time zones, country calling codes, phonetic alphabet and world map, to name just a few. Plannerd also supports passcode protection and data syncing via Evernote.
Already, Plannerd is set to impress with its large collection of productivity tools. But what I find more impressive is its presentation. In collaboration with Manchester-based designer and illustrator Angie Chan, Plannerd developer Timothy Tian has fashioned the app to look like a classic ring-bound personal organizer. But unlike a real-world organizer, Plannerd's contents don't fall apart however numerous they are. The look and feel of the app are customizable, too. The styles of the folio, pen, paper, fonts, icons, binder and owner's name can be easily changed to your liking.
Plannerd is now available in the App Store for $2.99. It's a no-brainer. If you're a proud nerd and you're in need of a planner, then what's a more suitable solution than to get Plannerd?
