We know that the upcoming "jOBS: Get Inspired" biopic will include scenes filmed in the actual garage where Steve Wozniak and the late Steve Jobs built the first Apple computer. Jobs is set to be played by Ashton Kutcher ("That 70s Show") and while he certainly looks the part, many are skeptical as to whether or not Kutcher can muster up a serious performance. It's clear that the producers want an authentic representation of Jobs and the era, so that could explain this Craigslist ad looking for people and cars with that '70s look, according to Cult of Mac:
Filming a movie in Silicon Valley / Palo Alto based on Steven Jobs Works the week of June 4th - 8th. Film takes place in the 70's Looking for the 70's look - longish hair, sideburns etc. Also looking for People who have 1965 to 1973's cars. There is Pay when working and meals included. Please forward photo-contact number and if you have the 1965 to 1973 cars forward them as well Thanks Rich King CastingWell, if you're stuck in the '70s, it sounds like a good deal. The compensation is minimum wage, but at least you'll get some free grub. In all seriousness, it's tough for me to take this film seriously, especially with this awful casting call. It doesn't look like much effort was put into any aspect of it. As long as you have "longish hair, sideburns etc." or "1965 to 1973's (sic) cars," then you're in. Would you give it a shot?
