Jailbreak Only: Redsn0w Updated - Minor Bugs Fixed

May 6, 2012
The iPhone Dev-Team has recently pushed out an update for its redsn0w jailbreak tool. The update, which hit the Web recently, contains minor bug fixes, meaning the software should now be more stable than before. According to the iPhone Dev-Team:
The 0.9.10b8b update to redsn0w makes the zip files more compatible with the native Windows explorer (which doesn’t like leading slashes in the filenames).
Unfortunately, this new version of redsn0w doesn't add support for A5X iOS devices, nor can it untether iOS 5.1. Rest assured, however, that the jailbreak mastermind @pod2g is working hard on developing a jailbreak solution that can help us out with both issues. If any more jailbreak news hits the Web, we'll let you know - so be sure to check back with us. [via iJailbreak]
