Well that was fast. Just two weeks after Gameloft released the first trailer for the sci-fi epic N.O.V.A. 3, the game is live in the App Store.
The universal app, weighing in at 1.57 GB, works with both the iPhone and iPad. It is listed at $6.99. Here is the complete app description:
Four months have passed since Kal ruined the Volterites' plans by sabotaging their war factories, and stopping the extraction of the Judger Artifacts. However, following the assassination of President Folsom, the government surrendered the colonies to the Volterite Protectorate in order to prevent civil war between the increasingly pro-Volterite citizens. Kal Wardin has been laying low since Folsom’s death, nut now he has received a desperate plea from Yelena to come to Earth. Once again, the hero must rise to save mankind! The game offers 10 levels of fighting across the galaxy with new weapons, from a war-torn Earth to a frozen Volterite city. Gameloft recently released a trailer of play from the solo mode. Click here if you can’t see the video. Past the single player storyline, there are 12-player battles in six multiplayer modes. And for the first time, multiple allies can jump in the same vehicle and spread destruction across the battlefield. N.O.V.A. 3 is a sequel to 2010’s N.O.V.A. 2: The Hero Rises. The original N.O.V.A (Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance) game was released in the App Store in 2009. The updated visuals look amazing, and I’m looking forward to playing the game. We’ll have a complete review of N.O.V.A. 3 for you soon. In the meantime, go check it out in the App Store now!
