Gameloft And 20th Century Fox Offer An Exclusive Movie Clip In Ice Age Village
June 21, 2012
Earlier this year, Gameloft and 20th Century Fox partnered to launch Ice Age Village, a city-building simulation game based on the upcoming family film Ice Age: Continental Drift. Now, the two companies are working to create another spike in hype by offering an exclusive video clip through the app for a limited time.
For those already playing Ice Age Village, accessing the movie clip is only a couple of taps away. However, those who haven't downloaded the app will need to set aside extra time and, therefore, may or may not find the effort worthwhile.
To display the clip, simply go to the Movie Theater within the game and tap Play Movie. It's that simple. If you're starting from scratch, you'll need to download the app, wait for all of the content to download as well, go through the tutorial, and then perform the aforementioned steps.
The clip is one minute in length and will be available for the next five days. Whether that's just the end of it or the clip will then appear on movie listings sites, we aren't certain.
Ice Age Village is a universal app compatible with iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch running iOS 4.0 or later, and available in the App Store as a free download.
Ice Age: Continental Drift arrives in theaters July 13, 2012. You can read the synopsis, watch the official trailers, and more through the iTunes Movie Trailers app.
