Jailbreak Only: Change Your Default Browser With BrowserChooser

Google launched Chrome for iOS yesterday and we absolutely love it. Unfortunately, iOS doesn't give you the option to set Chrome or any other third-party applications as the default browser on your iDevice. According to iDownloadBlog, a new jailbreak tweak called BrowserChooser changes all of that.
Once installed, BrowserChooser adds a tab to your Settings app, allowing you to set your default browser to Chrome, Opera Mini, iCab Mobile, Dolphin Browser, and Atomic Web Browser. After setting your new default browser, you're good to go. Any links you click from emails or texts will now open in the browser of your choice, rather than Safari. The same goes for any apps like Pulse News or Pocket that give you the option to Open In Browser/Safari.
Jeff at iDownloadBlog posted this video of the tweak in action:
Developer Ryan Petrich (@rpetrich) tweeted:
BrowserChooser is up on rpetri.ch/repo. Loving Chrome for iOS so much that it had to be built.I have to agree. Chrome is pretty darn nice. Having tab syncing across my devices should hold me over until iOS 6 drops this fall. The tweak is available for free to download from Ryan Petrich's repo. If you haven't added it to your Cydia sources, his repo is rpetri.ch/repo. Have you spent any time with Chrome? Do you prefer it over Safari? Source: iDownloadBlog
