Best Buy Drops The Price Of iPhone 4 Plus Plan To Just $50

Ahead of the expected launch of Apple's sixth-generation iPhone, Best Buy has dropped the price of its white and black iPhone 4 handsets to just $49.99, when users subscribe to a two-year contract with AT&T, Verizon, or Sprint.
Of course, the price reduction has come about because we all know a new smartphone should be launching within the next few months. It's more than likely, however, that we'll see the iPhone 4 go free with a two-year contract once Apple's sixth-gen handset finally becomes available - after all, this happened with the iPhone 3GS last October (before the smartphone gained a fraud-preventing $0.99 price-tag).
Regardless of whether the iPhone 4 drops in price to $0.99 or loses its price tag altogether, both potential occurrences would be easier on the wallet than the $50 Best Buy is now charging. So if you can hold out for a few more months before purchasing a cut-price iPhone 4, you'll most likely save yourself some cash.
Or you could spend the time saving for the next iPhone.
