Cook Up Something Tasty With Updated Food Network In The Kitchen

July 19, 2012
The No.1 app in the new Food & Drink App Store category has just received a major update. Version 3.0 of Food Network in the Kitchen brings a host of new features for both iPad and iPhone users. On the iPhone side, the app has been completely revamped. Users can take advantage of an optimized recipe search to find the right meal to cook up. There is also a Quick List for easy comparison of recipes. The iPad version also received some welcome enhancements. Understanding that many cooks are using their iPads as a replacement for cookbooks, the app now has more kitchen tools. Along with how-to videos, the app includes a meal planner and shopping list. Users can also swipe through recipes and view their favorites in portrait orientation. Food Network in the Kitchen is a universal app compatible with the iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch. It can be purchased for $1.99 in the App Store. The app features thousands of all-star recipes from the network’s chef personalities including Guy Fieri, Rachael Ray, and Bobby Flay. And just in time for the summer months, the new grilling central allows cooks to plan the ultimate outdoor meal with recipes for burgers, hot dogs, chicken, salads, vegetables, and desserts. Also, if you’re still in the cooking mood, take a look at our iPad App List for cooks.
