Part of our iPad Apps To Plan Trips AppList, TripIt is one of the best overall itinerary and meeting management tools. In late May, the app gained better terminal information and was Retina-ized, but now provides an even better look at all of your travel plans with an improved map system and image support.
Obviously, the new map system shows all of your items, such as hotel and meetings, for quick visual reference. However, it's the other two features that make it extra special.
You can now easily get the distance between two items and search for nearby restaurants, parking, and more. If that weren't convenient enough, locations can be added to your trip plans in just a couple of taps.
The other feature, image support, can be used as both a reminder and a feature of fun. For example, you can attach an image of your parking spot for a nice reminder or snap a picture of the roller coaster while visiting the amusement park.
As a final note, v3.4.1 should be applied to correct an app crashing issue that has been reported by some users.
