Learn How To Train Your Dinosaur In HungryAge
July 23, 2012
Conventional knowledge dictates that dinosaurs have been extinct for a very, very, very long time. But what if they've just been biding their time, patiently hiding in an uncharted region of the earth? What if they've just been waiting for all of mankind to perish, whereupon they're set to rule the planet once again?
Seems highly unlikely, but that's the basis of the presumed reality of HungryAge.
HungryAge is a new iOS game that operates in the "monstrous" vein of Pokemon and MinoMonsters. In the game, you're entrusted with the task of raising an adorable baby dinosaur and, ultimately, preparing it for battle.
In keeping with the established norms of virtual pet gaming, HungryAge lets you design a home for your little dino. As well, you get to dress it up. Awww.
But HungryAge is not all about being cute and cuddly. You also have to train your dino pet to perform important tasks, including meat stealing and treasure hunting.
Alternatively, meat and treasure can be snatched by your reptilian charge in the game's Lucky-test Arena. Using a variety of weapons, your dinosaur must defeat your Game Center or Facebook friends' own little monsters.
Designed for both iPhone and iPad, HungryAge is available now in the App Store for the rather monstrous price of $4.99.
A word of advice: Better take good care of your dino, lest it turn into a prehistoric whino.
