Are you ready to hit the course for the next round of Super Stickman Golf? In a post on the Touch Arcade forums, developer Noodlecake Studios revealed that Super Stickman Golf 2 will be hitting the App Store later this year.
Along with all the classic features and modes of the first physics-based puzzle game, look for some new added enhancements in the sequel.
The app will be filled with brand new golf courses, power ups, environmental hazards, achievements, and collectables.
Multiplayer options will also be improved with the addition of asynchronous multiplayer so users can challenge their friends at their own pace. The real-time multiplayer mode will look familiar but be enhanced with more power ups and crazy mayhem.
A brand new puzzle mode will also make an appearance in the sequel. Designed for seasoned players, the mode will offer scenario-based puzzle holes that should bring a new challenge and set of rewards.
And to celebrate the sequel announcement, the original game is now free in the App Store for a limited time. It’s a universal title designed for both the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad.
The first game was originally released in the App Store as Super Stick Golf, but was forced to change its name in April 2011. In that same update, multiplayer support was added to the mix.
We’ll keep you up to date when we hear more information about Super Stickman Golf 2.
