Bank Of America Customers Can Now Deposit Checks Using An iPhone

The Bank of America mobile app for iPhone has received an impressive new update. The freebie app now allows customers to make check deposits directly from their handset.
First launched in 2009, the Bank of America app serves more than 10 million customers across the United States. Now, the popular app includes features that could leave other banks in the dust.
Version 4.0.392 includes Bank of America Alerts as push notifications, and the ability for customers to send money to others, using their mobile number or email address.
The release’s most promising new feature, however, is check depositing. Now, instead of having to be near an ATM or banking center, cashing a check is as easy as using your iPhone.
