Coinciding with the launch of Pinterest for Android, a new version of Pinterest for iPhone and the brand new Pinterest for iPad have been debuted today in the App Store. Actually, Pinterest for iPhone and Pinterest for iPad are one and the same universal iOS app. The Pinterest iOS app was released in May last year as an app designed for iPhone and iPod touch only. Now, it’s been updated with universal support, thereby gaining native iPad compatibility. Prior to this welcome development, you might have been driven to use third-party apps to browse and post on the popular photo sharing site on your iPad. Now, the official Pinterest for iPad app is finally at your disposal to satisfy your pinning, repinning, and browsing needs. And, just like most of the stuff being shared on Pinterest, the app is a thing of beauty. As for the its iPhone counterpart, it has been improved with better usability. Notably, it now sports a two-column layout that lets you see more pins at a time. In addition, the ability to sign up for a new Pinterest account is included in both iPhone and iPad editions of the app. Has all this piqued your interest yet? If so, go ahead and download the new Pinterest for iPhone and iPad now in the App Store for free.
