DMBX 2 Flies Into The App Store Thursday With New Levels, Bikes And More

August 7, 2012
Just a little more than a year after the release of the original, a sequel to the mountain biking/BMX game DMBX will hit the App Store on Thursday. DMBX 2 will feature 12 unique levels along with eight individual characters and 14 different BMX/bikes to choose from. The new title will also contain a combined 36 time, trick, and race challenges. The title will be universal for both the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad and feature Retina support for the iPhone 4/4S and new iPad. With iCloud synchronization, results will appear on all of your iOS devices. With completely new physics and trick steering, the title will have a tutorial level and training mode. Players can race by using either tilt or virtual joystick navigation. Here’s a quick trailer of the new title, which will cost $1.99 to download. Click here if you can’t see the video. In the original review of DMBX, our own Lory Gil praised the title’s extra features and said it was definitely worth the money. It is also a universal title and can be downloaded in the App Store now for $1.99. Keep a lookout for our review of the sequel soon after it appears in the App Store.
