Force Email Notification Links To Open In The Official Facebook App

Jailbreak developers are always looking to improve our beloved iDevices. Now, one jailbreak tweak - called FaceMail - makes it possible to have Facebook email notification links open within the Facebook iOS app, rather than in Safari. Handy, right?
As Redmond Pie reports:
FaceMail changes that behavior by creating a link between the Mail and Facebook apps, meaning that when a link is tapped from an official Facebook email account, it will open up in the installed Facebook app and take the user to the notifications section rather than trying to force a log-in through Mobile Safari. As is usually the case with packages like this, it seems to have been born out of one developer’s hate of how iOS handles a certain situation, and if it affects one user, then the chances are; it has affected many.Folks simply need to download the FaceMail package and install it on their jailbroken iDevice, and email notification links should then open in the official app. It's as simple as that. Currently, FaceMail is available to download in the Cydia Store free of charge (via the BigBoss repository). Take a look at the new jailbreak package, and let us know if you're impressed in the comments. Source: Redmond Pie
