A Nice Bundle Of Improvements Comes To Bitly For iPhone
September 28, 2012
The official iPhone app of bit.ly, arguably the most popular among all URL shortening services, has just gotten another update.
The bit.ly app, which is more properly referred to as simply bitly (sans the dot), lets you shorten links into bit.ly bookmarks, or bitmarks for short.
Your bitmarks are automatically saved in the app, where they can be easily searched and viewed. You can also easily share them via Facebook, Twitter, or email.
In addition, you can choose whether you want any of your bitmarks to be private or be shown on your public profile. Furthermore, with the app, you can see how many people have viewed your bitmarks.
And now, you can already take advantage of bitly bundles right within the newly updated app.
Launched on the bit.ly website nearly a couple of years ago, bitly bundles is a feature that lets you group bitmarks into different collections.
With this feature integrated into the bitly app, you can now:
Along with bitly bundles, the new version of bitly brings optimization for both iOS 6 and the new iPhone 5. It's available now in the App Store for free. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
