It's iPhone 5 Launch Day: Lines Are Long, People Are Excited And We Can't Wait

The iPhone 5 finally arrives in nine countries beginning at 8 a.m. local time. As such, lines have begun to form across the globe. Here are some photos of folks waiting. During the day we will update this post with photos of our own AppAdvice staff in lines. In fact, we'd like your help too.

Apple’s sixth generation iPhone is available in the United States, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, and the United Kingdom.
The new handset will roll out worldwide to 22 more countries on Sept. 28, including Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
The handset is available in two colors (black/slate and white/silver) and in three models (16GB, 32GB, and 64GB).
