Based on the popular Flash title, the zombie smashing game Earn to Die is making its way to the iOS platform on Thursday.
Boasting more than 155 million play across the web so far, players mustIf drive their way through each level while running over as many undead as possible.
As the game progresses, players are able to unlock new vehicles like a race car, hippie van, and school bus to better smash those ever-pesky zombies. Upgrades are also available to be unlocked inside the game for each vehicle like guns, boosters, and spiked bumpers.
Here’s a quick trailer for the game. Click here if you can’t see the video.
I’m excited to see this title make the move over to iOS. I enjoyed playing the Flash version and interested to see the promised new vehicles, levels, and zombies. Even though the premise is somewhat similar to Zombie Highway or The Last Driver, the graphics really look nice.
Earn to Die will be available in two separate versions. The iPhone/iPod touch edition will be $0.99 while the HD version for the iPad will be $2.99 in the App Store. While I’m disappointed that the game isn’t a universal title, I am happy to see that there are no in-app purchases of any kind.
