Apple’s New iPad Lineup: Prices, Specs And More

Apple launched the iPad mini at the company’s special event in San Jose, Calif. However, its entry into the growing tablet market came with one significant casualty: the third-generation iPad.
Instead of announcing a second edition new iPad, as many of us expected, Apple instead announced the iPad 4. In other words, the iPad millions purchased just six months ago will soon leave the market. Plus, to throw salt into the wounds of those customers, the iPad 2 will remain.
