Can You Rescue Your Girl And Restore Order In The Gravity-Inverting Platformer Space Disorder?

October 11, 2012
If you've been waiting for the launch of Space Disorder, which we previewed here on AppAdvice last May, I'm glad to report that, yes, we finally have takeoff. Developed by Mi-Clos Studio and published by Bulkypix, Space Disorder is a colorful platformer that revolves around the gravity-defying adventures of a space traveler named Noah. You see, Noah's girlfriend, Zanita, has been abducted by evil robots. And to rescue her, Noah must enter the robots' spaceship and pass through its many rooms. As it happens, the robots have also abducted aliens of various races. So, Noah ought to rescue them to while he's at it. Hey, a science fiction hero's gotta do what a science fiction hero's gotta do, right? Of course, being the reliable iOS gamer that you are, you have to guide Noah in his space operatic quest. If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. You control the jetpack-equipped Noah by sliding your finger on your screen in the appropriate direction. I must say, though, that getting the hang of this control method may be more difficult than having to deal with a directional pad. In Space Disorder, you also have the power to invert gravity, which certainly comes in handy when trying to navigate tricky levels. Some of these levels may even require you to use a number of grenades, shields, clones, and other power-ups, which you can buy using the coins you collect along the way. The game also includes challenging missions that add to its replay factor, which is already reinforced by the game's randomly generated levels. Designed for iPhone and iPad, but not yet optimized for iPhone 5, Space Disorder is available now in the App Store for free. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
