Deal Of The Day: Groupon For iPhone Updated With New Bundle Of Improvements
October 23, 2012
Groupon, arguably the most popular deal-of-the-day and group-buying website in the world, has once again updated its official iPhone app.
Groupon for iPhone has been undergoing a considerable number of changes lately. As I recall, it all began last June, when an update was issued to the app that promised a "better deal browsing experience with our ongoing beautification efforts."
These beautification efforts included: a new carousel navigation, bigger pictures representing deals, better Groupon Rewards support, and improved deal rankings.
These, however, were not specifically publicized until a couple of months ago, when the largely performance-enhancing version 2.0 of the app was pushed. But no matter, they've been contributing greatly to the mobile Groupon experience on the iPhone since their integration in the app.
And the latest update, which bumps Groupon for iPhone to version 2.1, only serves to complement them.
Optimized for the four-inch display of the new iPhone 5, the newly updated Groupon app for iPhone is available now in the App Store for free. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
