Amid all the excitement about the new products and updates announced by Apple today, it's likely that you missed the major update that just arrived for Angry Birds Seasons.
Angry Birds Seasons is, of course, the "seasonal" edition in Rovio's hit Angry Birds franchise.
The game features the projectile birds versus bad piggies gameplay popularized by the original Angry Birds game. But in Angry Birds Seasons, the gameplay is enjoyed in various seasonal themes and backdrops.
Last time, Angry Birds Seasons was updated to get you into the back-to-school spirit. This time, the game has been updated to get you in the company of spooky spirits:
BOO! The pigs are hiding in their spookiest location yet: a haunted house! The Angry Birds will have to brave ghosts and ghouls to get their eggs back -- if they can survive the house first! Are your eyes playing tricks on you or did that painting just move?!Launching the new Season 3 pack of the game, the new Haunted Hogs chapter features 30 new levels set in a haunted house. As it happens, this haunted house is home to Frankenswine and the other pigs, all dressed up for the monstrous occasion. And to help you beat them, new ghost bricks, which make for fun trick shots, are at your disposal. Angry Birds Seasons for iPhone and Angry Birds Seasons HD for iPad are available in the App Store for $0.99 and $2.99, respectively.
