Search For Treasure And Reach For The Stars In Pinball Maniacs 2.0

October 27, 2012
Pinball Maniacs maniacs, rejoice! Your favorite cartoon pinball adventure game has just been updated to version 2.0. Launched like a bouncy ball into the App Store last June, Pinball Maniacs is a cute and colorful combination of classic pinball and Breakout. It's cute and colorful mainly because it's about the adventures of a band of cuddly cartoon animals made up of Justin and his friends. Justin and company are on a treasure hunt. It just so happens that their treasure hunt is spread across various levels in an exciting pinball world. In this world, Justin and his friends set out to collect coins, pinball-style. Along the way, they must also get rid of the enemies they encounter, Breakout-style. If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. In Pinball Maniacs 2.0, a new mission system is introduced. Under this new system, every time you complete a mission, the next one is automatically unlocked. Each mission bears three goals based on score, coins, and time. Reaching these three goals earns you three stars. You can collect these stars to unlock new content, including the Dragon Castle. Dragon Castle is the second table in Pinball Maniacs, with the first one being Pirate Bay. Dragon Castle can be unlocked using 50 rubies, which you can purchase with real money. Or it can be unlocked using 35 stars. The new version of the game also includes new characters, new upgrades, and a new leveling system that is heavy on rewards. Compatible with both iPhone and iPad, but not yet optimized for iPhone 5, Pinball Maniacs: Cartoon Pinball Adventure is available in the App Store for free. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
