FDG Entertainment Announces Banana Kong

Recently releasing the fun, casual, and wonderfully crafted Slide Circus, FDG Entertainment already has the construction of their next fun-filled iOS title underway, Banana Kong.
At first glance, this jungle-themed platformer does appear a lot like Donkey Kong Country with its gameplay of an aerobatic ape working to collect as many bananas as possible. However, Banana Kong adds a new level of monkey business.
By integrating the fast-paced action of the endless running game genre, FDG is able to provide a fresh and even more challenging experience than you expect from a "Kong" game. As seen in the teaser trailer, you'll be frantically leaping, bouncing, running, jumping, and more as you help Banana Kong outrun the banana avalanche and collect all of the tasty crescent moon-shaped food.
Banana Kong is currently in beta, and is scheduled to launch in January 2013 as a universal iOS app.
