Once known as Vintage Video Maker and Silent Film Director, Vintagio was placed into the App Store a few months ago. Along with the name changes came new features, revised user interfaces, etc. Yesterday, the first update of the rebranded videography app arrived, adding iPhone 5 and fifth generation iPod touch optimization, Cinemagram support, and increased performance. Utilizing the entire area of the 4-inch Retina display is always welcome, no one wants spacer bars, but isn't substantial in regard to usefulness in this case. However, Vintagio v4.1 does have a couple of other highlights, which benefit more than just those who prefer to own the latest iDevices. The first item is improved performance, which certainly helps those hanging onto older iOS devices. The second is direct exportation to Factyle's acclaimed animation app, Cinemagram. As the final note, we remind you that Vintagio is still on sale, a 66 percent markdown of the regular price. Vintagio is designed for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 5.0 or later, and available in the App Store for $0.99.
