Now Showing In The App Store: Vintagio, Formerly Known As Silent Film Director

August 24, 2012
As announced last week, MacPhun’s new video shooting and editing app Vintagio is now live in the App Store. Vintagio is actually the new, rebranded version of Silent Film Director, which itself was formerly known as Vintage Video Maker. With Vintagio, you get the best of what Silent Film Director (a moment of silence, please) had to offer plus the following enhancements:
  • new and improved video filters representing different movie eras
  • new soundtracks
  • enhanced editing tools
  • faster video processing (2X faster)
  • new user interface
  • new community feature (get instant updates about contests, directly contact developer and more)
Upon launching Vintagio, you get to choose whether you want to shoot in express mode or pro mode. Express mode, as its name suggests, lets you create vintage movies in minutes, while pro mode lets you enrich your movies with a number of editing tools. Vintagio gives you access to seven filter effects: 80s Disco Blast, 70s Crazy Grooving, 60s Hippie Fair, 50s Sepia, 20s Newborn, Classic Black and White, and Classic Sepia. As well, it lets you choose music to accompany your movies from its selection of 11 soundtracks or from your own song library. Vintagio is now available in the App Store for the introductory price of $0.99. Users who purchased Silent Film Director, however, get Vintagio as a free update.
