Double Down: Clone Camera Jumps To The iPad

Double Down: Clone Camera Jumps To The iPad

January 7, 2013
Are you ready for a Clone Camera clone? After introducing the iPhone version in October, developer Peta Vision has just released an iPad compatible version of the app. Just like the iPhone app, you can now go crazy cloning with the iPad. The process is fairly simple. First, you need to shoot two to four photos. Using your finger, you can then select the part of the image you want to clone. After cloning, you can also choose from 27 different high-quality photo filters and save the image on your Camera Roll or share on social networking sites like Instgram, Facebook, Twitter, and Flickr. The app supports high-resolution images and 1200x900 optimized shots. Clone Camera for iPad is compatible with all versions of the iPad, except the original version. Users must have iOS 5.0 or later installed. It can be downloaded in the App Store now for $3.99. The iPhone version of the app can also be downloaded in the App Store for $1.99. It was also recently updated to add a smoother brush and squash some bugs. We’re big fans of apps from Peta Vision. Retromatic won our App of the Week award in late 2012. Clone Camera for iPad looks like a lot of fun, and I’m interested to try it out. While I’m disappointed to see that it isn't a universal app, I think the larger screen of the iPad will make it easier to make fun images. [gallery link="file"]
