Google+ For iOS Now Available In 48 New Countries And Territories

Google+ for iOS has just launched in 48 new countries and territories. The international rollout was announced by no less than Vic Gundotra, Google's senior vice president for engineering. And where else would he announce it but in his own Google+ page, right? In his latest Google+ post, Gundotra shares that the official iPhone and iPad clients of Google's flagship social network are now available in the following countries and territories:

Albania, Anguilla, Barbados, Benin, Bermuda, Bhutan, Brunei Darussalam, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Cape Verde, Cayman Islands, Chad, Republic of Congo, Dominica, Fiji, Gambia, Grenada, Guinea-Bissau, Guyana, Kyrgyzstan, Lao People's Democratic Republic, Liberia, Macau, Malawi, Mauritania, Federated States of Micronesia, Mongolia, Montserrat, Mozambique, Namibia, Nepal, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Saint Lucia, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Solomon Islands, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Vincent and The Grenadines, Suriname, Swaziland, São Tomé and Príncipe, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Turks and Caicos, Ukraine, British Virgin Islands, Zimbabwe

As noted by The Next Web, users in a number of these countries should have no trouble navigating Google+ for iOS as the app already carries support for the following languages:

English, Arabic, Bulgarian, Catalan, Chinese, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latvian, Lingala, Lithuanian, Malay, Moldavian, Norwegian, Persian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish, Swedish, Tagalog, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, Urdu, Vietnamese

Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.0 or later, Google+ for iOS is available in the App Store for free. In mid-December last year, the app received a major interface refresh, making it a great example of Google's gorgeous design aesthetics on iOS. At the same time, it gained support for Google+ Communities, which is a significant group interaction feature in the "additive" social network.
