Scout By Telenav Updated With iPhone 5 Support And Navigation Enhancements

Scout, the personalized GPS voice navigation and traffic app from Telenav, has received another major update.
Launched a year ago, Scout has since undergone a number of updates.
One of the more significant of these is the app's update in August last year, which brought Always There Navigation and voice recognition.
Another significant update is the one that was pushed to the app in November. That delivered free voice-guided navigation along with Yelp and TripAdvisor ratings and reviews. What's more, it brought a redesigned My Dashboard with one-tap access to My Places.

As it happens, the latest update to Scout also brings a redesigned My Dashboard. But in addition to offering one-tap access to My Places, the new My Dashboard offers one-tap access to Recent Trips as well.
Furthermore, the update includes Nearby discovery. As its name suggests, this feature lets you discover things to do and places to visit nearby.
The latest version of Scout also brings iPhone 5 support and the ability to sort and manage favorite places.

Optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 5.0 or later, Scout is available in the App Store for free.
