Discover Great Events Around You With The Newly Updated Ticketing App Eventbrite

The official iOS app of the popular online event ticketing platform Eventbrite has just gotten another major update.
According to the folks behind Eventbrite for iOS, the new update is:
Our biggest and best update yet! We’re now bringing you events tailored just for you with a gorgeous new Discover view. Don’t worry, features you've grown to love — search and browse by category — are still just a tap away.Indeed, the most noticeable change in the new version of Eventbrite for iOS is the new Discover view. On the app's main screen, the spot that used to be occupied by the Find Events tab is now occupied by the Discover tab. Tapping the Discover tab takes you to the Discover view, which shows event recommendations based on events you've been to. As you browse this list, you may encounter a blue Facebook Connect button. Tap this button to connect Eventbrite with Facebook and start seeing events your friends are going to. You can also invite more Facebook friends to enhance your event discovery experience. Even with the addition of Discover in the app, Browsing events by category is still possible by tapping the new "Browse by category" at the top of the event list. And searching for events near you or in other locations is possible by tapping the search icon at the top right corner. Optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 5.0 or later, the new version of Eventbrite for iOS is available now in the App Store for free. Along with other performance enhancements and bug fixes, the update also adds the ability to show tickets purchased for you in the My Tickets view. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
