Fun Papercraft App Foldify Adds Photo Import, Valentine's Day Template And More

The innovative papercraft app Foldify has just unfolded its first ever major update.
Essentially, Foldify lets you draw and create printouts that you can cut and fold into beautiful 3-D figures.
The app provides an easy-to-use interface that lets you see a live 3-D preview of your soon-to-be work of art. It also offers a variety of templates, stamps, and tools to enhance your creation.
Foldify also features an embedded social network where you can share your creations and browse those of other users.
Released in mid-December last year, Foldify received a couple of updates just within its first week of availability. But those updates brought only minor improvements.

For its part, Foldify's latest update brings a number of major improvements, foremost of which is photo import.
Apparently the feature most requested by Foldify users, photo import lets you add photos from your camera or photo library to your papercraft.
The newly updated app also features support for eye dropper and color fill.
Moreover, new templates and shapes, including Valentine's Day-themed ones, have been added to Foldify. A new Trending category in the app's online section is also introduced by its new update.
Compatible with iPad 2, iPad (third generation), iPad (fourth generation), and iPad mini running iOS 5.0 or later, Foldify is available in the App Store for $2.99.
