Mailbox Hits The App Store With A Reservation System

February 7, 2013
Mailbox, the highly anticipated email client from developer Orchestra, is now live in the App Store. Designed to work with Gmail accounts, Mailbox is highlighted by a clean and simple user interface that uses swipe gestures to accomplish many tasks. If you want to try the app out, you will have to be patient. As we told you last month, the developer has rolled out a reservation system for people to access the app. This is to help lessen any strain on Mailbox’s servers. If you didn’t signup up on the website, you can also download the app to reserve a spot. Currently, there are 257,760 people ahead of me in line. There is no timeframe on how quickly spots will open up. Mailbox is designed for the iPhone/iPod touch but is compatible with the iPad. It can be downloaded for free in the App Store now.
