New 128GB iPad With Retina Display Now Available At Apple Online Store
February 5, 2013
As announced by Apple a week ago, the new 128GB iPad with Retina display is now being offered for purchase.
On the Apple Online Store, the new variant of Apple's bestselling tablet has just been added to the available iPad selections.
Available in black or white, the 128GB iPad with Wi-Fi model is priced at $799, while the 128 GB iPad with Wi-Fi + Cellular model is priced at $929.
Note that the Wi-Fi-only model is available to ship from one to three business days. On the other hand, the LTE-enabled model, which works with AT&T, Sprint, or Verizon, is available to ship for a bit longer: from three to five business days.
Aside from the Apple Online Store, all versions of the 128GB iPad are also sold through Apple retail stores and select Apple Authorized Resellers.
As noted by Apple in its announcement last week, "The 128GB iPad with Wi-Fi and iPad with Wi-Fi + Cellular models provide twice the storage capacity of the 64GB models to hold even more valuable content including photos, documents, projects, presentations, books, movies, TV shows, music and apps."
Of course, that's a self-evident observation. Our own Bryan Wolfe, however, points out that "Most Of Us Don't Need The 128GB iPad, At Least Right Now."
Are you going to purchase the now-available 128GB iPad?
