Speed Kills In This Action-Packed Unreal-Powered Race To The Death
February 24, 2013
Does speed kill? You can find out for sure (virtually, that is) by playing the newly released game called Speed Kills.
Speed Kills is a combat racing game powered by the Unreal Engine. In the game, you play as a speed racer competing in different championships, which range from "bootleg rallies on the outskirts of the galaxy to big-league circuits set against the goliath skylines of metropolis cityscapes."
Having taken the game for a spin, I find Speed Kills to be a quite promising action death racer. In particular, I appreciate the relative ease with which its controls are implemented, with virtual pads for steering, reversing, nitro boosting, and weapon dispatching.

Check out the list below for Speed Kill's key features:
Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 4.0, Speed Kills is available now in the App Store as a free download. Note that in-app purchases are available for credits to be used in buying vehicle upgrades and new cars, among others. Note also that, contrary to what's indicated in its App Store description, Speed Kills is not yet optimized for iPhone 5 and the fifth-generation iPod touch. As such, it's displayed with vertical bars on either side of the screen of these devices. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
