One of the iPhone 5’s great features is the ability to take photos while recording video. Unfortunately, this feature isn’t available on other devices including the fifth generation iPod touch.
I don't know why Apple decided to omit this great feature, and to be honest, I’m not convinced that any performance would be sacrificed because of it.
Well, thanks to a new Cydia tweak, the fifth generation iPod touch can also have this functionality. Sill Capture Enabler is a tweak that will give your fifth generation iPod touch the ability to take photos while recording video.

As you can see in the video demonstration, this feature works flawlessly on the fifth generation iPod touch. Once installed, there are no options to configure. Just launch the Camera app, switch to video mode, and enjoy the ability to capture photos while recording video on your device. Currently, Still Capture Enabler is available in the BigBoss repository for free. Check it out and be sure to let us know what you think in the comments.
