Treat Your Loved Ones This St. Patrick's Day And Easter With Treat Cards
February 26, 2013
Like Tom and Donna in "Parks and Recreation," you have to find time to "treat yo self." Better yet, why not treat the people you love? Perhaps with free massages or fine leather goods. Or simply, but no less meaningfully, with cards through the recently updated Treat Cards.
Not to be confused with the similarly "generous" social gifting app Treater, Treat Cards is an app that lets you send real, personalized cards to your family and friends for as low as $1.99 each.
As mentioned, Treat Cards has recently been updated.
"Now that we’re pleasantly plump with candy hearts and peanut butter choco," say the folks behind Treat Cards, "we’re looking forward to a little spring in our step — and we’ve got pots of gold, pints of beer and some awfully cute bunnies in store."
Indeed, the latest update to the Shutterfly-developed app offers new cards for St. Patrick's Day, which is celebrated on March 17. As well, it adds new cards for Easter, which this year takes place on March 31.
Additionally, new cards for everyday card-sending occasions, such as birthdays and thank-yous, are included in the update.
Apart from squashing some bugs in the app, the update brings the ability to take pictures within the app and instantly add them to any card.
Optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 5.0 or later, the new version of Treat Cards is available now in the App Store for free.
