Conquer The Scary Woods And The Mystic Mountains For More Bonuses In Mega Run
March 11, 2013
Get Set Games is prompting you to get set for the latest content update of its mega popular platformer game, Mega Run.
Mega Run is the spiritual sequel to Get Set Games' similarly mega popular jumper game, Mega Jump. As noted in our original review, posted shortly after the game's launch in May last year, Mega Run "brings back the classic frantic coin grabbing fun from its predecessor, Mega Jump, and puts a platforming twist on the whole deal."
And it has just been updated with more than a dozen bonus stages — 16 new bonus stages, to be exact. You can find half of these new stages in the game's fourth world, Scary Woods, and the other half in the fifth world, Mystic Mountains.
The update is also said to include tons of bug fixes to lessen crashes and improve the game's stability.

Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 4.3 or later, the new version of Mega Run is available now in the App Store for free.
Mega Run is actually the basis of an officially licensed iOS game released by Disney to promote the 3-D rerelease of "Monsters, Inc." last year and the prequel "Monsters University" this year.
Just as it partnered with Imangi Studios to produce Temple Run: Brave and Temple Run: Oz, Disney collaborated with Get Set Games to launch Monsters, Inc. Run.
Monsters, Inc. Run is pretty much like Mega Run, except that it features characters and settings from the "Monsters, Inc." universe.
