Get 20 Magical Stories In One App For You And Your Little One With Disney Storytime

March 29, 2013
Have you ever wished you could have 20 Disney stories in a single app for you and your child to enjoy on your iDevice? Well, wouldn't you know it? That's exactly what Disney has just released in the App Store. That single app is called Disney Storytime, and it contains the following 20 stories:
  • 101 Dalmatians: Puppy Trouble
  • Aladdin: Abu's Adventure
  • Beauty and the Beast: Belle and the Castle Puppy
  • Cars: Rematch
  • Cars: Radiator Springs Road Trip
  • Cinderella: The Lost Mice
  • Finding Nemo: A Friend in Need
  • Lion King: A Day Without Pumbaa
  • Monsters, Inc.: Always Time for a Laugh
  • Sleeping Beauty: Buttercup the Brave
  • Tangled: Rapunzel's Story
  • The Aristocats: The Coziest Carriage
  • The Incredibles: Super Annoying
  • The Little Mermaid: A Special Song
  • The Princess And The Frog: A Surprise Guest
  • Toy Story: A Tight Squeeze
  • Toy Story: Mixed Signals
  • Toy Story: Starry Night
  • Up: Watch Dug
  • Wall-E: Down to Earth
Each story features lively illustrations and animations, topnotch narration, original music, and various sound effects. Each story also supports reading at your own pace, reading along with the app's "Read to Me" feature, and even recording your own voice. Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.0 or later, Disney Storytime is available now in the App Store for $1.99. Initially, you get access to only three stories in the app, namely, "Monsters, Inc.: Always Time for a Laugh," "Tangled: Rapunzel's Story," and "Toy Story: Starry Night." But you can add more stories by buying in-app credits. These credits are part of the app's safe in-app purchase system that lets kids select the books they want to add. This system is apparently aimed at minimizing the risk of having your child be the next subject of a news story on in-app purchases, which, unlike the Disney kind, is a kind of story you and your child would certainly not enjoy.
