Ka-Pow! Nook For iOS Now Supports Nook Comics With ZoomView

From today through the end of the month, you can buy a new Nook HD+ from Barnes & Noble and get a new Nook Simple Touch e-reader for free. It's a pretty nice offer, to be sure. But if, like me, you already have an iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch, perhaps Nook for iOS should suffice. Especially now that it's just been updated with more enhancements.
The newly updated Nook for iOS introduces support for Nook comics.
Nook may be a bit late to the party, what with Kindle and Kobo for iOS both supporting comic books and other types of enhanced e-books since June last year. Nevertheless, it's nice to finally see Nook for iOS supporting comics.
And not just mere comics, apparently. According to Barnes & Noble, Nook for iOS now supports Nook Comics with ZoomView. This enables you to read a comic book through a close-up, panel-by-panel view in a sequence intended by the author.
In addition to Nook Comics with ZoomView, the new version of Nook for iOS includes the following improvements:
