New Patents Published For Apple And Steve Jobs Focus On iOS Devices

The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has published 10 new patents for Apple. Each focuses on the iPhone and/or iPad. Three of the patents, which cover the iPhone 4/4S, credit Steve Jobs as a designer. These include a patent for the device’s exterior frame and its stainless steel metal band, the iPhone’s back plate, as well as its Apple Store packaging. Other patents announced cover drawings and photos of the iPad, as well as its battery. The final design patents cover an iDevice component, and a graphical user interface.
