Apple Shows How People Use The iPhone To Take Photos Every Day In New TV Ad

April 26, 2013
Apple has just begun airing a new, rather heartwarming TV ad for the iPhone 5. Specifically, the ad focuses on the device's camera and how it has come to be used by many users in taking photos of everyday moments … and their food. Titled "Photos Every Day," the ad shows iPhone users in the act of creating snapshots of their adventures, their loved ones, their surroundings, their feet in the sand, their concert outings, and, of course, their strawberry shortcake and Rosetta latte art. Notably, the ad includes a nice series of shots that highlight the iPhone 5's panorama feature. If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. The ad concludes with a voiceover that says, "Every day, more photos are taken with the iPhone than any other camera." This statement presumably points to a statistic from Flickr, where the iPhone 5 is among the top three most popular cameras, along with the iPhone 4 and the iPhone 4S. This statistic was included by Apple in its "Why iPhone" promotional webpage published shortly after the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S IV. The new "Photos Every Day" ad for the iPhone 5 in general and the iPhone's camera in particular is embedded above for your viewing pleasure. It is also available to watch on Apple's official YouTube channel as well as on the official iPhone TV ads webpage. I must say that I quite like this new ad, even as I dislike people who take photos during meals and concerts.
