Good Grief! Path Introduces Brand New 'Peanuts' Sticker Pack For Messages
April 27, 2013
Last week, Path introduced a new "Iconic Bites" sticker pack designed by Susan Kare, the graphic designer responsible for many of the icons in the original Macintosh operating system. This week, Path has tapped another legendary artist to add to its collection of sticker packs for its messaging feature. And that artist is none other Charles Schulz.
Schulz died over a decade ago, but his legacy lives on through his beloved "Peanuts" comic strip. And now, you can see and have fun with the "Peanuts" gang right within the popular social networking app Path, thanks to a brand new sticker pack.
In its most recent blog post, the Path team has this to say about the new "Peanuts" sticker pack:
Use Woodstock to convey a little cheekiness, or a snoozing Snoopy to show your blissed-out state. There are conversations that require Charlie Brown’s lovable awkwardness, some that call for Lucy’s muscle, and some for Linus’s quiet wisdom. We hope they bring fun, a little nostalgia, and most of all, happiness to your Path experience. We can’t wait to continue to delight you with some of the most recognizable characters in the world.Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad, Path is available in the App Store for free. Note that you don't need to download a new version of the app to get the new "Peanuts" sticker pack. Just go to the Shop section of the app and wait for it to be refreshed with the new pack, which can be unlocked via a $1.99 in-app purchase.
