Intellicast HD 4.0 Introduces Storm Tracking Subscription And Map Annotation
April 24, 2013
Intellicast HD, the intelligent high-definition weather forecasting app that really lives up to its name, has just been updated to version 4.0.
Version 4.0 of Intellicast HD, which arrives roughly eight months after the app's 3.0 update, introduces an optional Storm Tracker subscription package and a neat new annotation feature.
For a $1.99 in-app purchase, Intellicast HD's Storm Tracker subscription package offers six months of professional-grade storm tracking tools.
These tools include near real-time high-resolution NEXRAD and TDWR radar, street-level lightning plots, and advanced storm detection and analysis. Oh, and the subscription package also removes all ads from the app.
To avail of the subscription package, just tap the Store option, followed by the $1.99 button.
As mentioned, Intellicast HD 4.0 also adds annotation capabilities to the app.
On the map, tap the pencil icon to activate Intellicast HD's annotation feature. With this feature, you can indicate distances and draw lines on the map.
What's more, you can tap the share icon to share an image of your annotated map via email, Twitter, Facebook, AirPrint, or camera roll.
Compatible with iPad running iOS 5.0 or later, Intellicast HD 4.0 is available now in the App Store for free.
Intellicast HD 4.0 also brings a new clean look and some bug fixes to brighten up your day.
